Yes, Iโm sharing the BEST Trader Joeโs frozen foods. The frozen aisles are one of the best places to find Trader Joeโs products ranging from cauliflower rice to almond croissants! Iโve gathered this list of Trader Joeโs best frozen foods, 23 to be exact and while I tried to touch on most categories, Iโm sure you might have a few to add to the list as well!
Wondering whatโs good at Trader Joeโs? You came to the right place. Iโve tested and shared and reviewed and come up with a TON of recipes using the best groceries from Trader Joeโs. Whether youโre making a Trader Joeโs cheese board or trying to figure out the best Trader Joeโs frozen appetizers are, Iโve got you covered.
While veggie burgers and frozen burritos are classic frozen meals, there is so much more to love at TJโs!Here are some of the best frozen food items from Trader Joeโs.

Trader Joeโs Frozen Cauliflower Rice
Yes, the frozen cauliflower rice deserves itโs own category! As always, TJโs always hops on the popular food trends, and theyโve managed to come up with a number of trader joeโs cauliflower rice products. Serve with Trader Joeโs air fryer chicken or make your own cauliflower fried rice with a few veggies and soy sauce.

Trader Joeโs Cauliflower Rice
This product is amazing and I donโt like to be without it. Great for cauliflower fried rice, smoothies, or any stir fry.
I think itโs one of the best things to buy at trader joeโs in terms of quality, versatility, and price!

Riced Cauliflower Stir-Fry
One of the easiest ways to make cauliflower fried rice! I like to fry it up and serve with a fried egg for a filling, veggie-packed meal. Sriracha and garlic chili sauce to taste.

Riced Cauliflower Bowl
This cauliflower rice bowl (vegan!) features a lot of different flavors that (sort of) surprisingly all work well together. It is a little light for a full meal, so Iโll usually add a fried eggs to make it a little more filling.
Trader Joeโs Frozen Vegetables & Fruits
I love to keep a stash of Trader Joeโs products like frozen fruits, veggies, and convenience items.

Frozen Garlic
Put the jarred minced garlic aside! I repeat, put the jar minced garlic aside! If you want to Recipe is below, so save time peeling and mincing garlic, these are the cubes to use. Much better flavor then jarred, just as easy. Use these cubes in everything from Instant Pot chicken stew to grilled chicken drumsticks.
I always have the minced ginger in the freezer too, as itโs not an ingredient I always keep on-hand. Itโs a must for stir fry recipes like moo shu shrimp or pepper steak stir fry.

Roasted Corn
This roasted corn makes a great addition to so many meals. Iโve used it on street corn avocado toast; in Chipotle copycat corn salsa, and as a side toย black bean and cheese burritos.
ย
The smoky flavor adds depth to anywhere frozen corn is called for.

Frozen Raspberries
I know, trader joeโs frozen fruit is sort of random, but worth a mention. When I was pregnant with Eden and was on a strict gestational diabetes diet, my nightly dessert consisted of siggiโs raspberry yogurt + frozen raspberries + whipped cream. It was light, sweet, creamy, and a tad tart.
They are also fantastic in smoothies, and I think their prices for both organic and conventional frozen fruit is hard to beat.
Best Trader Joeโs Frozen Dinners
Trader Joeโs is known for its frozen meals, and they have some great ones! Here are some of the trader joeโs best items when it comes to frozen meals:

Thai Shrimp Gyoza
If I had to pick a solo-dinner night meal (aka the nights that I have dinner all by myself), Trader Joeโs potstickers would be the meal of choice most of the time! They are also a favorite for Demi to pack for school lunch.
The shrimp is my favorite, but I also like the chicken gyoza and pork gyoza potstickers. (UPDATE: I have new and strong opinions of the dumplings after researching and side-by-side testing for the ultimate guide to Trader Joeโs dumplings.

Paneer Tikka Masala
Even Indian food lovers agree that the frozen Indian dishes are some of the best items at Trader Joeโs. If you want to recreate an Indian meal at home, buy one of eachโฆ.not that Iโve ever done that. ๐
I also like supplement the paneer masala with a side of dal or chicken tikka masala for a more filling meal.

Cod Provenรงal with Ratatouille & Rice
Yes, I know what you are thinking. And I thought the same thing. Then my co-worker was heating some up at work, and oddly, this microwave fish smelled GOOD! Iโm a fan for no-work lunches.
I also made this for my kids when they were babies and just starting to eat if we needed a quick meal for them. The ingredients are very wholesome.

Linguine with Clam Sauce
I held out on frozen pasta for a longgggggggg time. I just really didnโt think they could be any good. Who knows what finally possessed me to try them, but Iโm a fan. The fettucine alfredo and spaghetti cacio e pepe are also great โ like a grown up mac & cheese. (Bucatini cacio e pepe is better but sometimes you need the EASY option.)
Itโs important to note that most of the Trader Joeโs frozen pastas feed one, not whatever is listed on the package. ๐

Gnocchi alla Sorrentina
Sounds super fancy, tastes super good. This is another one that I had such low expectations forโฆbut itโs simple and tasty. (Check out my thoughts on the best way to prep cauliflower gnocchi.)

Burrata, Prosciutto & Arugula Flatbread
Trader joeโs frozen pizzas are not my favorite, but I do enjoy some of the flatbreads! They have a crunchier crust and delicious flavors like this one. Try naan pizzas at home for a quick dinner option.

Kung Pao Chicken
Salty, spicy, and full of flavor โ just what I want in Chinese chicken!

Mandarin Orange Chicken
According to just about every website and article out there, the mandarin orange chicken is one of the best things to buy at trader joeโs and it always makes the fan-favorite lists.
I do think itโs super tasty, but itโs not something I buy every time Iโm there. Serve with haricot verts or air fryer broccoli and cauliflower and a side of basmati rice. Make the orange chicken in air fryer for less mess! I also have a homemade orange chicken stir fry.
Trader Joeโs Must Haves Appetizers
I ALWAYS pause at the Trader Joeโs appetizer freezer, no matter how rushed I am. It holds a few of the best things at Trader Joeโs. For the full list, check out 12 best (and worst!) Trader Joeโs frozen appetizers.

Parmesan Pastry Puffs
These may look like ordinary pigs-in-a-blanket, but they are not. They are elevated in just the slightest way (with puff pastry and a sprinkle of parm) which makes them perfectly appropriate, no matter what your age is!

Mini Chicken Tacos
Whether youโre putting these on an appetizer spread or packing them up in school lunches like I do, they are a family-friendly snack or meal! Serve them with fresh toppings, sour cream, and salsa.
Trader Joeโs Frozen Meatballs and Proteins
I have strong opinions when it comes to Trader Joeโs frozen foods like meatballs, meat, and seafood. Read onโฆ

Party Size Mini Meatballs
Iโm slightly picky about trader joeโs products โ meatballs included! And I just donโt love the turkey ones. Beef and mini are the way to go! The mini meatballs donโt have a strong Italian flavor, so can be used in any flavors. These trader joeโs curry meatball rice bowls are a fave!

Argentinian Red Shrimp
While I donโt love all of the seafood at Trader Joeโs, this shrimp actually has a similar flavor and texture as lobster. So naturally, we like to serve it with lemon juice and melted butter. Use it in my lobster grilled cheese or scallop linguine.

Shrimp Burgers
At some point, Trader Joeโs changed their salmon burger recipe and the new one is unfortunately, not one that I like. But then they came out with the shrimp burger! Itโs a blend of shrimp and white fish and is delicious with a bright slaw and brioche bun.
Trader Joeโs Frozen Breads and Sides
Trader Joeโs frozen croissants and naan are the highlights here. MUSTS!

Garlic Naan Bread
Remember that Indian feast I mentioned above? The naan bread is a must. In addition to serving alongside Indian meals, the naan bread makes a great crust for naan pizzas, buffalo chicken flatbreads. Garlic all the way for me, but plain is also great.

Almond Croissants
This is another item (and I know Iโve said this a lot!) that I just didnโt think could possibly be very goodโฆWRONG! After an overnight proof and a quick bake, youโve got fresh almond croissants that are flaky with the right amount of sweetness.
Not too long ago, I also tried the mini croissants (no proof needed) and was also super impressed with these. The small size was perfect on my trader joeโs breakfast brunch board and would be a great addition to brunches.

Frozen Jasmine Rice
Much like the trader joeโs cauliflower rice, the frozen grain section is another great dinner time hack! Simply microwave for a few minutes and youโve got perfectly cooked rice or quinoa. The jasmine rice is my favorite for ground pork stir fry or Trader Joeโs chicken and vegetable curry.

Potato Latkes (Potato Pancakes)
Homemade potato latkes are awesome, thereโs no doubt. But the peeling, shredding, and oil splatters? Eh. Once every few years, weโll make them from scratch, the other times? Trader Joeโs to the rescue.
There you have it. Twenty-three of the best trader joeโs frozen foods! (IMHO) Add yours in the comments!
