When you need something that’s quick, easy, and totally delicious, this buffalo chicken flatbread is it! Made with just a handful of ingredients, if your chicken is cooked, your meal is ready to eat in about 15 minutes. We’re topping naan bread with shredded buffalo chicken, two cheeses (because why not), and an extra garnish of buffalo wing sauce. It’s a great easy dinner or part of a gameday spread.

  • Naan bread – This is my favorite because it’s easiest and delicious, but you can also use any sort of flatbread, pita bread, traditional pizza crusts, or even tortillas. (Check my tortilla pizza post for instruction.)
  • Buffalo chicken – You have some options here. I recommend making a batch of slow cooker buffalo chicken (use extras in buffalo chicken sliders), or simply toss cooked chicken breast or rotisserie chicken with buffalo sauce.
  • Mozzarella cheese – Buy shredded cheese to save some time or use fresh mozzarella cheese for an extra-creamy flavor. You could also use cheddar or jack cheese if desired. Really anything that melts well will work here.
  • Blue cheese – Use your favorite blue cheese – either crumbled or in a block that you can crumble yourself.
  • Green onions – Thinly sliced green onions are a delicious garnish, but you could also use chives or diced red onion.
  • Buffalo wing sauce – Use your favorite brand of buffalo wing hot sauce.

Then you can bake it for 10-15 minutes at 375 degrees F from frozen, until cheese is melted and homemade buffalo chicken pizza is hot.

Description

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces of standard-size naan bread (or 8 if small)
  • 2 cups shredded buffalo chicken
  • 8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 oz. blue cheese crumbles
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • buffalo sauce for drizzling


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Bake naan, directly on oven rack for 2-4 minutes, until lightly crispy. โ โ Remove from oven and place on aย sheet pan.
  3. Top with shredded chicken (use a slotted spoon so the chicken doesn’t have too much moisture) and mozzarella cheese, additional chicken if desired, and a sprinkle of blue cheese crumbles.
  4. Bake for another 5-7 minutes until naan is golden brown and cheese is melted. Top with green onions and an extra drizzle with buffalo sauce if desired.


Notes

  • You can also use premade pizza crusts, tortillas (see tortilla pizza instructions), or flatbread.ย 
  • If you don’t want to make slow cooker buffalo chicken, you can toss cooked chicken with a bit of buffalo sauce.ย
