Ingredient Notes
You’ll need a few fresh ingredients and pantry staples to make this seasonal foam: heavy cream, milk, and pumpkin spice syrup.
- Heavy cream: This gives major whipped cream vibes and is SO good. It also helps the foam have a thick and strong structure (so that the foam doesn’t deflate right away).
- Milk: You can use skim milk, low-fat milk (2%), or whole milk. The combination of cold milk with heavy cream helps lighten the foam up a bit and also prevents it from turning into whipped cream.
- Pumpkin spice syrup: Once you have a batch of this syrup, you’ll find so many delicious ways to use it. It is ready in minutes, and you’ll have coffee drinks for weeks. It’s the perfect way to use up leftover pumpkin puree, and you can use it in so many different drinks.
- Coffee: You can use it on an iced Americano, cold brew, or your favorite cold coffee.

Emily’s Tips & Tricks
- Pro tip: Don’t OVER foam your foam. We are looking for a foam that is pourable, nothing with stiff peaks.
- Foaming methods: A handheld frother is easiest and quick to use, but you can also make the foam with a French press, immersion blender, or a cold foam maker.
- Shortcuts: Don’t want to make the syrup? You can buy pumpkin spice syrup here, or even just add some pumpkin spice to the milk mixture.
- Additions: Top finished drinks with a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar!

One sip and you’ll want to add this pumpkin cold foam to every drink! It’s slightly sweet, majorly creamy, and full of cozy spices.
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. heavy cream
- 1 Tbsp. milk (whole, 2%, or skim)
- 1 Tbsp. pumpkin spice syrup (or purchase pumpkin spice syrup here)
Instructions
- In a small glass, combine heavy cream, milk, and pumpkin spice syrup.
- Froth mixture for 15-25 seconds until light and foamy. Be careful to not over froth or it will turn to (the most delicious) pumpkin whipped cream.

- Serve immediately and pour cold foam over your iced drink and garnish with a dusting of cinnamon sugar.

Notes
- Storage: Best enjoyed immediately. Do not store for later as foam will deflate.
- Ingredient notes: Whole milk creates the creamiest foam, but plant-based options like oat or almond milk also work. Add more pumpkin spice syrup if you want a sweeter and stronger flavor. If you prefer to buy your syrup, this pumpkin spice syrup here has great reviews.
- Prep ahead: Brew coffee in advance and reheat if needed, but froth milk fresh for the best texture.
- Special tools: Electric frother, handheld milk frother, or blender for frothing milk.
- Serve with: Your favorite iced latte, iced Americano, or cold brew.
- Nutrition: Nutrition facts do not include iced coffee.

can i use something else instead of heavy whipping cream?
You can use half & half or even a milk, if you use a milk alternative, definitely look for the “barista” blends as they will whip up better. The whipping cream whips to a really nice consistency, but it’s still good, even if it’s not as foamy!
