Ingredient Notes
You’ll need just a few ingredients to pull off this iced PSL at home: espresso (high-quality!), milk of choice, pumpkin spice syrup, whipped cream, and cinnamon sugar.
- Espresso: Grab your favorite coffee beans in an espresso roast. I use a few different varieties, which are all local to me, so they are the freshest beans. The espresso roasts are designed to be paired with milk. Since I love light roast coffee, I will also sometimes experiment with a lighter, more subtle roast, and I love that too. You can also use a nespresso if you don’t have an espresso machine, but you’ll still want to use high-quality pods. If you don’t have an espresso maker, you can also use strong coffee or even strong instant coffee.
- Pumpkin spice syrup: This homemade syrup is delicious and made with fresh pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cozy warm spices. It’s a great way to use up leftover pumpkin puree and you can use it in so many different ways. You can adjust the pumpkin spice flavor by adding more or less of this syrup to the drink. You can also buy pumpkin spice syrup or sugar-free pumpkin spice syrup.
