5-Minute Creamy Jalapeño Quesadilla Sauce Recipe
If you love the Taco Bell quesadilla sauce, you’re going to love this copycat recipe! And while Taco Bell serves it just on their quesadillas (unless there is some secret menu item I don’t know about!), this creamy jalapeño sauce is delicious on SO much more than just quesadillas! A drizzle of this will definitely take your favorite quesadilla to the next level.
Serve this quesadilla sauce recipe with quesadillas (ground beef, shrimp, chicken fajita, steak, black bean, and buffalo chicken), but also try it over shredded chicken nachos, taco salad, or chicken burrito bowls. It’s also delicious as a dip for tortilla chips – I have yet to find something that I don’t love this sauce on!

Ingredients
- Sour cream – Use full fat for best flavor, or whatever type you prefer. You could also use full-fat Greek yogurt if you prefer.
- Mayonnaise – Use full fat for best flavor, or whatever type you prefer.
- Pickled jalapeños – Look far jarred jalapeños, you can use sliced or chopped. You could use fresh jalapeños, but it would be super spicy.
- Jalapeno brine – This is the liquid or jalapeño juice from the jar of pickled jalapeños, not something you need to buy separately.
- Sugar – I’ve used granulated sugar, but you could use any sweetener. Honey, agave, or a sugar-alternative will all work well.
- Spices – Chili powder, salt, onion powder, garlic powder
