Weekly Meal Plan: January 5th-9th

We’re officially into 2026, and you’ve probably seen a million messages about the “perfect” diet, easy ways to lose weight, and a ton about high-protein meals. It’s also understandable if you are craving more balanced, more structured meals – I am too – and it’s one of the reasons these January messages hit as they do!

But instead of extreme measures, I can offer nutritious meals that also taste delicious. Truthfully, this is how we eat all year, and these are the types of meals I share all year! Less exciting, but more health-promoting. It’s always the boring, everyday stuff that actually works.

This week’s meal plan is packed with protein, fiber, and flavor, featuring a cheesy turkey taco skillet, a veggie-loaded minestrone soup, Mediterranean pitas, satisfying black bean tostadas, and a bright salmon Caesar salad. These are meals that nourish your body without feeling like “diet food,” just delicious dinners that also happen to be nutritious.
