Description

This easy dill Greek yogurt veggie dip is creamy, fresh, and flavorful. Made with Greek yogurt, mayo, and seasonings, it’s deliciously simple.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (I use full fat)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. dried dill
  • 3 tsp. Beau Monde Seasoning OR (1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 tsp. celery seeds, and 1/4 teaspoon sea salt)
  • veggies for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, dried dill, Beau monde seasoning, and sea salt. Stir together until combined.

  2. Chill for at least 30 minutes so that flavors meld.

  3. Serve with a variety of raw veggies.

Notes

  • Additions: Fresh herbs make a great addition if you have them. My favorites are parsley, dill, and chives. Chop them finely and stir them in.
  • Storage: Store any leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
  • Ingredient notes: My MIL’s secret (not so secret anymore!) veggie dip ingredient is Beau Monde seasoning, and I’ve used it since learning her trick. If you don’t have it and don’t want to buy it, you can always swap it out for garlic powder, onion powder, and celery salt. I prefer to use full-fat (whole milk or 5%) yogurt for the best flavor and texture, but this easy veggie dip recipe will work with low-fat or fat-free yogurt too. If you are looking for the closest alternative to sour cream, use the full-fat. You can also use sour cream if you prefer, and I do so regularly, depending on what we have.
  • Prep ahead: Brew coffee in advance and reheat if needed, but froth milk fresh for the best texture.
  • Special tools: Store the dip in glass storage containers.
