Easy Steamed Edamame

Description

How to cook frozen edamame! This steamed edamame is a perfect side, snack or component for lunches. Steaming edamame is quick and easy! 


Ingredients

  • 28 oz. frozen package of edamame pods
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp. sea salt

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a large skillet.
  2. When it boils, stir in edamame and salt. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Drain, season*, and serve. 

Notes

  • Storage: Leftover edamame can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days
  • Prep ahead: The edamame can be steamed or boiled ahead of time and refrigerated until you’re ready to eat.
  • Serve with: Enjoy it on its own or pair it with a side of rice, a fresh salad, or as a topping for stir-fry.
