Description

This fresh sauce is so simple to make and tastes delicious on just about anything! Serve it with grilled meats + vegetables for a bright meal.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 small shallot
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 cup parsley
  • 1/4 cup basil
  • 1/4 cup mint
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. Chop shallots and garlic. Place into bottom of food processor and pour red wine vinegar over and let sit for 5 minutes. This will help mellow out the shallots and garlic.
  2. Add fresh herbs to food processor and process until finely chopped. Drizzle in olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

You can use any combination of fresh herbs as you like.
