Notes
- Each serving size is 2 tablespoons; there are about 16 servings
- For an average 8 oz. drink, you’ll want to start with a tablespoon of syrup (or two if you like a sweeter drink with more pumpkin flavor) and then adjust accordingly
- Storage: Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks in an airtight glass jar or bottle. The syrup may separate slightly – just stir before using. Can be frozen for up to 3 months in ice cube trays for single-serving portions.
- Ingredient notes: Use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling. Libby’s is a reliable brand that’s pretty easy to find. Pure vanilla extract will give the best flavor.
- Helpful tools: Medium saucepan, whisk, fine-mesh strainer (optional for ultra-smooth texture), glass storage jars.
- Serve with: Coffee, lattes, hot tea, pancakes, waffles, vanilla ice cream, fall cocktails, or drizzled over yogurt and granola.
