This breakfast board for kids is ready in 5 minutes – protein, fresh fruit, and mini pancakes your kids will love.
Ingredients
- Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Chicken Sausage
- mini pancakes and syrup
- fresh fruit (fresh berries, sliced apples or pears, cut grapes, orange segments)
- milk or milk alternative
Instructions
- Prepare the breakfast sausage. If you have them thawed, they’ll pan fry in just 5 minutes. You can also microwave the sausage links.

- Prep other components. Heat pancakes and cut up fresh fruit.
- Assemble breakfast board. Place components out on a cutting board or a small sheet pan. (It adds a fun factor and looks beautiful, trust me!)

Notes
Storage: This breakfast is best assembled fresh right before serving. Store any leftover components separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator for 1-2 days.
Ingredients: Any mini pancake brand works here – look for whole-grain or organic versions if that’s your preference. For fruit, go with whatever is in season: berries, grapes, kiwi, mandarin segments, or sliced pears all work beautifully.
Prep ahead: Thaw sausage links overnight in the fridge so they cook in just a few minutes the next morning. Wash and dry your fruit the night before to shave another minute or two off your routine.
