Learn how to make ground chicken tacos with homemade taco seasoning that’s made with pantry staples. You can use this meat in so many ways.


Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 white onion, finely chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lb. ground chicken (don’t use 99% fat free)
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/8 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. corn starch
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 12 taco shells
  • toppings: guacamole, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, sour cream, salsa, pico de gallo, hot sauce, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cilantro, diced onion, lime wedges
