Description
Let’s make a simple charcuterie board! It’s quick and easy, balanced, and requires NO cooking (perfect for casual meals).
Ingredients
Units
Scale
- 8 oz. deli turkey or ham
- 4 oz. salami
- 8 oz. hard cheese like sharp cheddar or aged gouda
- carrot sticks
- cucumber slices
- fresh berries (or other seasonal fruit)
- crackers
- hummus or ranch
- olives
- almonds or other nuts
- dark chocolate
Instructions
- Arrange all of your items on a cutting board, serving tray, or even in bowls or on plates on the table.
Notes
- You can use cutting boards, a sheet pan, muffin tins, or even just put out on the table, though I like grouping everything together. You could also make individual mini boards using small boards or small salad plates.
- Storage: Store components in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
- Ingredient notes: Feel free to mix and match and switch up ingredients, this is a general outline and includes the basics and a variety of components but this meal is a great way to use up little bits of cheeses, olives, fruits and veggies that you have in the fridge.
- Prep ahead: If you want to be able to pull the components out and eat a minute or two later, prep your fruits and veggies, put out dips and olives in small bowls, cut up cheese and deli meats, and decide on what crackers/chips/extras you’re going to include.
