 Moroccan Spiced Ground Lamb Tacos

You will love these ground lamb tacos! There are so many delicious flavors going on – we have Moroccan-inspired spiced lamb (that is succulent and rich and delicious); whipped lemon feta dip, crunchy shredded cabbage; and bright pickled red onions – all rolled up in a charred corn tortilla.

Ingredients 

– 1 lb. ground lamb – 1 tsp. sea salt – 1/2 tsp. garlic powder – 1/2 tsp. ground cumin – 1/4 tsp. ground ginger – 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon – freshly cracked pepper – 1/2 red onion – white vinegar – whipped lemon feta – 1/4 head green cabbage – 12 corn tortillas

How to Make Moroccan Spiced Ground Lamb Tacos

Make pickled red onions

Thinly slice red onion and place into bowl or jar with white vinegar.

Make lemon feta dip.

Follow recipe as shown in post.

Cook lamb

Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add lamb and break up with a spatula or wooden spoon. Sprinkle with seasonings and stir in. Cook until cooked through. Drain fat if necessary.

Prep taco ingredients

While lamb is cooking, shred or thinly slice green cabbage (as thin as possible!) and char or heat tortillas – either over a gas flame or on a hot skillet. Assemble tacos. Spread lemon feta onto tortilla and top with spiced lamb, shredded cabbage, and pickled onions.
