Copycat Crumbl Sugar Cookie
This copycat Crumbl cookie sugar cookie recipe is just like the real deal…but in a slightly better size. Just like these popular cookies, the cookie is a chewy and dense sugar cookie with a swoop of the trademark pink and sweet almond frosting.
For Cookies: – 1 1/4 cups flour – 3/4 teaspoon baking powder – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1/2 cup butter – 1/3 cup granulated sugar – 1 Tablespoon powdered sugar – 1 egg – 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/4 teaspoon almond extract For Icing: – 1/4 cup butter – 1 cup powdered sugar – 1 Tablespoon cream – 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/4 teaspoon almond extract – Pink food coloring
How to Make Copycat Crumbl Sugar Cookies
Beat butter and sugar
Mix cookie dough
Beat wet ingredients. Beat in egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract until combined. Beat in flour mixture until fully incorporated.
Shape cookies. Scoop out dough into round balls (about 2 tablespoons) and lightly flatten in your hands. Place cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper about 2 inches of space in between each and bake in the oven until set on the edges.
