How to Make Copycat Crumbl Sugar Cookies

Beat butter and sugar

Mix dry ingredients. In a small mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, and salt. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer beat together butter with both granulated sugar and powdered sugar until fluffy.

Mix cookie dough

Beat wet ingredients. Beat in egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract until combined. Beat in flour mixture until fully incorporated.

 Bake cookies

Shape cookies. Scoop out dough into round balls (about 2 tablespoons) and lightly flatten in your hands. Place cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper about 2 inches of space in between each and bake in the oven until set on the edges.

Frost cookies

Make almond buttercream frosting while cookies are cooling. Spread icing on cookies as desired. Let set before freezing or stacking.
