A non-alcoholic wine that actually tastes like wine? (Surely Wine Review)
Searching for Surely wine reviews to find some REAL opinions about Surely non-alcoholic wine? You’ve come to the right spot. I’m sharing alllll the info on Surely wines – what varietals are out there, where to buy it, and all of my Surely wine reviews. If you’re anything like me, you’re looking for a good AF wine that tastes more like the real deal than a juice box. Of course it’s not exactly the same…as it doesn’t contain any ethanol, so as with any NA alternative, it doesn’t have the same bite.
No matter what your reason is for searching out alcohol-free or low-alcohol options, I’ve found something in particular extremely important to helping me hold strong – and that’s having good, fun, and delicious non-alcoholic alternatives. And while I love a margarita mocktail or a Seedlip and tonic, I also need some options that I can take on-the-go to bring to parties, gatherings, and weekends away.

Short answer – YES, Surely wine is good! I’ll break things down by specific varietals below for a full Surely wine review, but the overwhelming answer is yes! I’ve been enjoying it for more than two years now, and I always like to have some ready for me as well as ready to take to parties and gatherings.
How is Surely Wine Made?
From surely.com: Most non-alcoholic wines are afterthought products from large wineries. They’re cheap, taste terrible, and aren’t even made from real wine!
At Surely, we were tired of wine that tasted like grape juice. So we spent nearly a year perfecting our winemaking process to reinvent a wine experience that’s high-quality, layered, and tastes amazing!
The grapes are sourced from California and undergo the typical fermentation process, the alcohol is removed to retain natural flavor, and select ingredients are added to round out the body.

I purchased all of these wines on my own, so that I could give an honest and open review…and I’m still buying my own. 😉 The wines are made with California grapes to give you great tasting wine without the headaches or hangovers.
Surely Non-Alcoholic Red Blend
Red wine was one of my drinks. It was a staple for me at night, after martinis (on the weekends) and all throughout the fall, winter, spring, and well, I guess summers too. So I really wanted to love the Surely red blend.
And while this one was ok, I think I didn’t love it as much because my brain can’t accept a red wine dupe. I’ve tried so many and I just am not a fan of them.
But it feels like a great alternative if you aren’t picky and maybe if you didn’t drink as much red wine as I did! If you like red wine varietals, it might be an excellent swap for you.
Buy it again? No. I’ve just sort of accepted that I won’t be able to find a red wine (same with a dirty martini) that will be a good swap. If there were one out there for me, I would bet Surely would be the one.
Surely Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Rosé
LOVE this one! The flavor is light and crisp, with notes of sweetness and aromas of strawberry and pear, but not overly sweet like so many NA wines are.
I’ve also tried Gruuvi sparkling rose and liked it, but once I tried the Surely I was hooked. I like buying the cans because then I don’t have to feel like I need to finish a bottle in one night and they are also super convenient to take on-the-go when I need to bring a good AF option to a get-together or party (I also snuck one in my purse to a school fundraiser as I knew they wouldn’t have any AF options).
Buy it again? Absolutely. I keep the Surely sparkling rose stocked and buy a few boxes at a time as I don’t like to run out.
Surely Non-Alcoholic Rosé
What’s my Surely rosé wine review? It’s DELISH, but unfortunately they don’t offer it anymore.
At first I was worried about having a whole bottle and thinking it would go bad, but I’ll drink it over 3-4 days and it’s still just as good on the last day, so it keeps well.
I wish there was a canned option of the Surely rosé so that I could take a can of rosé without bubbles at times.
Buy it again? Absolutely. I like to have a bottle over the weekend in spring and summer nights.
Surely Non-Alcoholic Brut
White wine lovers, this one is for you! The brut is another bubbly option that comes in both cans and bottles. It’s perfect for summer sipping, toasts, holidays, and even in a mimosa for brunch spreads! It’s light in flavor with a fun effervescence that isn’t too sweet.
Buy it again? Yes. I like to have the cans ready and if I know I’m going to be drinking it with someone else, I’ll get the bottle out.

No, the Surely wine is not organic.
Is there alcohol in Surely wine?
No, while the wine starts as wine…(following?!) it goes through a process to remove the alcohol (which makes them dealcoholized wines). So it’s made in the same way as traditional wine, to give it traditional flavor.
Can you drink Surely wine while pregnant?
The wine has less than .05% alcohol, similar to kombucha. (For perspective, a pear has .04% ABV, which I didn’t realize until I was researching this!) So with that said, there are a number of foods that have a low % of alcohol. I personally would have felt fine drinking Surely wine while pregnant, but like any of these pregnancy and food/drink questions, it’s ultimately it’s up to you and your Doctor.
How many calories does Surely have?
It will depend on the variety, but they range from 20-50 calories per 8 ounce serving.
Can you get non-alcoholic champagne?
There are definitely some great options for NA champagne. Try the Surely sparkling white or the Surely Brut cans for bubbles without the booze.
