Salmon Burgers with Sauce

Frozen salmon burgers are a great kitchen shortcut and can be found at most grocery stores. Serve burgers on buns with bibb lettuce, and of course, the dill sauce for salmon burgers on top. Roasted carrots with dill make a great side dish.

Description

Frozen salmon burgers are a great kitchen shortcut and can be found at most grocery stores. Don’t forget the dill sauce for salmon burgers!ย 


Ingredients

For salmon burger sauce:

  • 1 tsp. dried dill
  • 1/2 cupย mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice (aboutย 1/2ย lemon)
  • 2 Tbsp. capers

For salmon burgers:ย 

  • 48 salmon burgers
  • 4 hamburger bunsย 
  • 4 bibb lettuce leaves

Instructions

  1. Stir together mayonnaise, lemon juice, capers, and dried dill in a small bowl and set aside.ย 

  2. Prepare salmon burgers according to package instructions.ย 

  3. Top bottom bun with lettuce leaf and salmon burger. Drizzle with caper dill sauce and top with bun. Serve with roasted carrots.


Notes

  • Get your kids involved! They can: mix together the caper dill sauce.
  • Salmon burgers can vary in size, so aim for about 200-250 calories. You may need two patties.
