How to Use Your Moink Box:
I’m SO excited to share this post with you guys! I’m going to show you exactly how to turn a Moink box into eight different easy and healthy meals for families.

Let’s start at the beginning. You choose what meats and fish you want included in your Moink box and they deliver it right to your door! (Everything is frozen solid, and shipped safely.) The best thing is that you don’t need to think about or research where your meat comes from. When you order from Moink, you know you are getting meats and fish that are raised in ethical and sustainable ways AND you are supporting small, family farms.ย
All of the meats and fish that come from Moink are the best quality, so they don’t need much to shine. But if you need a little inspiration, you’ve come to the right place! I’m going to show you what to order in your Moink box, and more importantly, what to do with it all once it arrives!
How to Use Your Moink Box: What to Order
We’re going to be using a mix of pork, beef, chicken, and salmon so I usually start with a combo and then customize my box to get just what I need and want. To make these eight different meals you’ll need:
- 3 packs Chicken Breast (3 lbs.)
- 1 pack Chicken Thighs (2 lbs.)
- 1 Large Salmon Filet (about 1.5-2 lbs.)
- 2 packs Ground Beef (2 lbs.)
- 1 Flank Steak (1 lb.)
- 2 packs pork shoulder roast (about 3.5-4 lbs.)
How to Use Your Moink Box: How to Plan
Because we have eight different meals, I would recommend splitting this meal plan up into two weeks. Then you have four meals per week, which is a great start to two weeks of meal planning. Add in a night out or leftover night and you’re done! Alternatively, you could just plan for one big week of cooking and throw in a few nights of leftovers or out to eat when you need them. Do what works best for you and your schedule!
How to Use Your Moink Box: What We’re Cooking
I’m a meal planner (in fact I do it every week for many families!) and one of the things that makes my plan a little different than others is that we utilize the ‘cook once, eat twice’ framework. This is an easy way toย maximize your time in the kitchen so that you create more meals and spend less time doing it! So we’re making two slow cooker ‘cook once, eat twice’ meals and the other four meals included are quick and easy options that come together in about 30 minutes or less.ย

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken (turned into Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches and Buffalo Chicken Stuffed Sweet Potatoes)
Everything about this meal is fantastic. How easy it is, the celery blue cheese slaw that tops the sandwich, and…BUFFALO SAUCE!
Roasted Salmon with Dill Butterย
If you’ll be entertaining at all, may I recommend this roasted salmon dish? The fish is simply roasted and then topped with a dill compound butter that sounds fancy, but is really just delicious. Serve with my house salad and garlic toast.
This guacamole burger is cooked on the griddle, with a bit of butter and then topped with fresh guacamole. Need I say more? NO.
If I had to choose a favorite cut of meat, it might be chicken thighs WITH the skin and bones. (But please don’t make me choose!) These thighs get slightly crispy and you’ll be so glad that the skin is there. Served with roasted potatoes and broccoli, it’s a “three sheet” dinner, without much hands-on work.
Slow Cooker Honey Pork (turned into BBQ Pork Sandwiches and BBQ Pork + Pineapple Quesadillas)
I think slow cooker were made for pork! Slow and low and full of flavor, this pork makes great sandwiches (you’ve got to try some slaw on top!) and is then combined with caramelized onions and pineapple for a deliciously easy quesadilla.
