- Family-friendly

Ingredients
- Hawaiian Sweet Rollsย โ Use the classic, dinner roll size, not the buns or slider buns, we want the buns intact.
- Butter – Use high-quality butter for the best flavor. You could also use olive oil if you prefer.
- Garlic salt – You can also use a combination of garlic powder, sea salt, and dried parsley flakes.
- Chicken tendersย โ Use your favorite breaded chicken tenders or chicken strips. Or swap out the tenders for your favorite chicken nuggets or chicken patties.
- Marinara sauceย โ Use an Italian-seasoned, basic marinara sauce. I like to lean on store-bought marinara to keep things easy, but you can absolutely use homemade if you prefer.
- Mozzarella cheeseย โ Use sliced mozzarella cheese to get an even layer of cheese or shredded if you prefer. You can also use provolone cheese or add an extra sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Garnishย โ Optional, but you can garnish with a sprinkle of Italian seasoning, fresh parsley, or fresh basil.

FAQs
Can I make these chicken parmesan sliders with chicken nuggets?
Yes, using frozen chicken tenders or chicken nuggets is an easy shortcut, and both will work. The nice thing about using chicken nuggets is that you can put one nugget per bun and it will be just the perfect size.
Are chicken sliders healthy?
Well I say everything is healthy. ๐ Some foods are more nutritious than others, but all food serves a purpose. These sliders have protein, carbs, a bit of produce (marinara sauce!), and fats. OH, and FLAVOR. So I would say, yes, itโs an incredibly delicious AND nutritious meal.

Storage Instructions
The sliders are best served immediately, but if you have leftovers, they can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
How to reheat
For best results, reheat sliders in a 350-degree F oven or air fryer until hot and crisped up a bit.

What to Serve with Chicken Parmesan Sliders
The sliders are pretty filling, so I like to serve them with a few simple sides:
- Raw Veggies andย Dill Veggie Dip
- Lemon Kale Salad
- Napa Cabbage Coleslaw
- Air Fryer Broccoli
- Fresh fruit
- Potato chips

How to Feed Chicken Parm Sliders to the Whole Family
I get it, feeding kids can be tough! But following the Division of Responsibility and knowing your job and your childโs job makes it SO much more enjoyable. Youโll be able to feed your kids any meal, which will help ensure that they are eating a variety of nutritious foods โ with plenty of play food sprinkled in.
I would recommend serving a small piece of a slider in a pinch bowl (taster bowl) if itโs a new or learning-to-like it food. Serve the meal with a few items you know your kids will eat, like fruit, milk, and/or bread and butter. Even though the individual items are pretty kid-friendly, sometimes combining everything together can be a hard sell.
You can also serve the sliders deconstructed and cut off a row of buns to serve alongside some sliced cheese, chicken tenders, and marinara sauce. This way they can add their own if they want – or eat it plain.
