Is there a more perfect food than the (humble?) avocado?

They are a staple in our house. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. There’s never NOT a good time for it.

It’s smooth and satisfying; rich and creamy. Perfect on just about anything and everything.

As a toast topper (OBVIOUSLY!), chip dipper, salad component, and perfect finger food.

And while we all love avocados just as they are (well, as long as that includes a sprinkle of maldon salt), there’s something about adding a touch of flavor. Lemon or lime or basil and feta.

It’s a little reminiscent of pesto avocado, which is definitely a good thing and delicious with crackers, veggies, or on sandwiches!

Avocado, Basil & Feta Spread is a delicious and nutritious spread perfect for veggie and cracker dipping!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 avocados
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped basil
  • salt & pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, smash avocado with the back of a fork.
  2. Stir in feta, green onions and chopped basil.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
